On 22 January 2015, Città della Scienza will organize the second edition of the BAC Club of investors, the first club dedicated to the promotion and the support of innovative companies in the South of Italy.

The promoters of this initiative are: Digital Magics, a certified incubator for innovative startups listed on the AIM markets of the Italian stock exchange; Fondazione Idis-Città della Scienza, the incubator for innovative startups and spin-offs; 012Factory, Startup Academy and accelerator of Caserta; TechHub, an acceleration programme from the Bank of Naples, the Chamber of Commerce of Naples and the University of Naples Federico II.

The BAC – Business Angel Clubis a connecting hub of investors and local startups created to support and drive the investments in original projects that will contribute to the economic development of the South and the employment of young people.

More specifically, the BAC’s objective is to encourage the relations managers, business angels, entrepreneurs of the region and startups with a high rate of growth and that offer services and contents of high technological added value.  Meetings are organized every two months in all regions of the South of Italy where 4 selected startups are presented and where the promoters of the initiative invest in terms of financing and accompaniment services, as well as submitting these companies to potential investors.

The participation to these meetings is free of charge but upon invitation.
