MEDimprove, supported by IPN, achieves SME Instrument funding for its innovative technology
serFarma first learned about the SME Instrument funding opportunities through their participation in the ACE Acceleration Programme, an EU funded accelerator coordinated by EBN.
serFarma has been granted a Phase 1 SME Instrument financing for their project MEDimprove. Their proposal was the 5th in the topic of ICT for Health with a score of 14.11.
Jorge Pimenta, IPN Project Manager commented on this achievement saying: "serFARMA are part of IPN’s ecosystem of startups since 2014. They have been very thorough and persistent in developing the MEDimprove system. Cristina, Célia and Álvaro are a highly-skilled team and ACE support has been decisive for them. As the product is now ready for a full-scale implementation, the SME instrument will be strategic for the definition of their internationalisation roadmap."
serFarma was distinguished with its project MEDimprove, a software that supports self-care and self-medication in the context of minor health problems like headaches, colds and flu or fever.
