The TecBIS Accelerator - Technology.Business.Innovation.Sustainable Growth - is the latest technological infrastructure for business support of the Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN), The EU|BIC of Coimbra, Portugal. Learn more about this accelerator here.
With this new accelerator, IPN aims to meet the specific needs of their highly technological and innovative companies, that demonstrate are demonstrating high growth potential. This new infrastructure offers a state of the art service programme, with a view to enhance companies' internationaisation capabilities and accelerate their entry into global markets. TecBIS also intends to increase the technological basis of these companies, by facilitating cooperation with the scientific and technological research fields.
On November 6th, Carlos Moedas, European Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation inaugurated IPN's new accelerator, within the framework of his roadshow to showcase scientific excellence across Europe. The official inauguration was preceded by a visit around IPN's facilities where the Commissioner had the opportunity to see IPN's Business Incubator, their research labs and get to know their R&D and R&I services.
