EBN network keeps expanding

EBN is proud to welcome 3 new members on board, Matikem (France), Grand Narbonne (France), and DEL - Economic Development for the Agglomeration of Longueil (Canada)!

Matikem is a French competitiveness cluster located in Villeneuve-d'Ascq (France), specialising in materials, chemical and green chemical industries. Matikem is also playing a vital role as a Science Park in the region, by supporting startups and companies working in materials, chemical, and bio-technology sectors.

Being already a part of IASP and engaged in various innovative projects collaborating with stakeholders and large network partners, Matikem has become EBN Associate Member and is currently undergoing the certification process to become soon an EU|BIC, as in Matikem they believe in the added value of ecosystems and networks in detecting innovative projects with high potential to bring value to startups and companies working in materials, chemical and bio-technology sectors. In the same way. Matikem sees collaborating with the other EBN members and taking advantage of the services EBN provides as the right move to strengthen its role as the Science Park in the region.

Grand Narbonne, coming from France, is a public community organisation offering to residents of 39 municipalities of the agglomeration community an efficient public service. One of the organisation’s main roles is boosting innovation and economic development in the region.

The region in which Grand Narbonne operates

To nurture innovation and entrepreneurship in the field, Grand Narbonne collaborates with various national and international centers as well as high education institutions.

On Monday, 12th of June, Grand Narbonne opened Fab Lab to the entrepreneurs and interested public in the region, giving them the opportunity to use the digital tools and create prototypes for only 12 euros per year!

DEL - Economic Development for the Agglomeration of Longueil, is a not-for-profit organisation based in Quebec, Canada. Its mission is to promote, stimulate, and develop technological and innovative companies through the delivery of full range services (funding, export, coaching, networking, incubation, entrepreneurship), with a goal of contributing to regional social-economic development, competiveness and growth.

The main reason to become EBN Member was to accelerate internationalisation of their companies.

Curious to find more about them? Have a look at the brochure below.

We are pleased that increasing number of business support organisations coming from Europe and beyond understand the added value that EBN members bring and that since the very beginning they are working hard to become accredited EU|BIC to bring and stimulate innovation and entrepreneurship in their region, while increasing at the same time internationalisation opportunities.

We wish Matikem, Grand Narbonne, and DEL lot of success in the future and great collaboration!
