3 Smartagrifood companies showcased at Fireware Foundation Launch and MWC 2016
Three companies from the smartAgrifood project have been selected to pitch at the official launch presentation of the Fireware Foundation and also showcased at Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona this week.
These 3 companies are specialised in the SmartAgrifood domain, and have been developed using FIWARE Technologies (see related news). They have been carefully selected by Telefónica I+D to be presented during MWC 2016 to demonstrate how FIWARE technologies can be successfully applied to the SmartAgri domain.
These showcases are already known by the IoT, smartagri, commercial areas of Telefónica, to be potentially sold to their customers.

- Insylo (developped by Ubikwa- Spain) : a complete LOW COST platform for remote control of stocks levels in feed silos. (see detailed news)
- Agricolus (developped by Team Dev - Italy): Agricolus allow the collection of geo localized information concerning
cultivated fields such for instance information on agricultural practices in relation to culture,
the treatments applied and signs of plant diseases. - STEPLA (developed by: Sensowave -Spain) : a service platform that allows location, monitoring and tracing livestock in an outdoors environment, facilitating B2B data exchange between stakeholders.
