The EBN Congress is always a great occasion to meet old friends and make new ones and do business, of course. This year was no different as we witnessed the participation of a large delegation coming directly from Taiwan, led by our own member and EU|BIC, Chaoyang University of Technology Innovation Incubation Center (Taichung, Taiwan), willing to share their experience and to look for business opportunities for start-ups on both continents!

Before the Cognress started, cn 4 July 2017, a meeting between EU|BICs and Taiwanese incubators took place at Agoranov and has concretised into strong ties and a better understanding of the correspondent ecosystems and services.

The meeting was moderated by Pim de Bokx, chairman of the Taiwan Globalization Network, a Dutch-based organisation that holds the mission of fostering international business among European and Taiwanese companies and was attended and opened by Mr. Christopher Lai, Taiwan commercial attaché to France.

EU|BICs and Incubators from both sides presented concrete opportunities of internationalisation laying out the ambitions of their own entrepreneurial community.

We are looking forward for the organisation of the next step that will take place in November during the Global Entrepeneurship Week, where a group of startups supported by EU|BIC BIC LIGURIA - FI.LS.E, will visit the Taiwanese incubators while being provided a concrete opportunity to access the Asian markets.
