Congratulations to ANCES Open Innovation winners!

On the 20th of April 2018 at the final event of ANCES Open Innovation programme organised by EBN Associate Member ANCES and supported by Spanish EU|BICs, in Madrid, Spain,  13 startups received prizes and a possibility to continue working closely with the corporates.

The 13 startups (Airestudio, Visualeo Verifications , Chef-e, Condorchem EnvitechTáctica Tic, Obbu, BotsloversMyrunsSyscomed,  Lis Solutions, Alteria Automation, Optimus 3D, Sigma Biotech), were selected as best in tackling  challenges posed by 13 corporates (Aertec, BBVA, BSH, Estrella de Levante, Euskaltel, Iberdrola, Iberostar, Gonvarri, Grupo Huertas, Soltec, SPC, Vegenat and Sacyr). The startups had to come up with solutions to the challenges in digitalisation, industry 4.0, circular economy, big data, fintech, renewable energies and other challenges facing global economy.

EBN CEO Javier Echarri joined the event with Mario Buisán, General Director of Industry and SMEs of the Government of Spain, Alvaro Simón de Blas, ANCES’ President and EU|BIC BIC Euronova’s Director, Cristina Fanjul, EU|BIC CEEI Asturias’ Director and EBN Board Member.

 Over 30 startups reached the finals and they had 3 minutes to pitch their solutions to the corporates:

 Following the pitching session, 13 startups (mainly coming from Spanish EU|BICs (BIC Euronova, BIC Araba, CEEI Asturias, CEEI Murcia, etc.) were selected for offering the best solutions to the corporates’ challenges.  

Congratulations to the startups, EBN Member ANCES and Spanish EU|BICs for a great initiative connecting startups and corporates to work together on innovative solutions.
