EBN Members and certified EU|BICs Thesame and CCI Lyon ranked as top innovation actors in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (France)

According to LTE Survey Group’s analysis of the economic and innovation landscape of  Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in France, EU|BICs Thesame and CCI Lyon play a leading role in fostering economic prosperity of the region.

Thesame and CCI Lyon, which have been successfully following  EU|BIC criteria in supporting innovation and entrepreneurship since 2000 and 1994 respectively, ranked highly among 20 other innovation actors in the region. Thesame, an EU|BIC specialised in innovation and entrepreneurship support with a focus on robotics was ranked first, while EU|BIC CCI Lyon, representing interests of the industry and entrepreneurs in the region, was ranked fifth.

LTE Survey Group’s biannual survey has been conducted for the past 20 years, analysing dynamics and the state of economic and innovation support in European regions. Using the same methodology since the beginning, the survey enables consistent benchmarking of the regions and the key players driving their economic growth. Some of the main criteria used were the organisations’ level of expertise, responsiveness, territorial coverage, impact on internationalisation, etc.
