Congratulations to T-Hub and Misr El Kheir Foundation for joining the EU|BIC excellence club

We are proud to announce that we have expanded (and internationalised) our EU|BIC family after T-Hub from India and Misr El Kheir Foundation (MEK) from Egypt have successfully completed the accreditation process and became certified EU|BICs!

T-Hub is a unique public/private partnership between the government of Telangana, 3 of India’s premier academic institutes (IIIT-HISB & NALSAR) and key private sector leaders. It represents intersection of the startup, academic, corporate, research and government sectors, and it is India’s fastest –growing startup engine.

Misr El Kheir Foundation (MEK) is a non-profit development institution established in 2007 with a vision is to become a pioneering sustainable development organisation, to contribute to the development of individuals and work towards reducing unemployment, illiteracy, poverty and disease.

Both of the new EU|BICs are involved in some interesting projects that might be of interest to other EBN Members. While T-Hub is mainly working in the areas of Innovation, FinTech, Agritech and Smart Cities, Misr El Kheir Foundation’s main project, GESR, represents a cluster of activities and partners joined together by the vision of empowering the people at the bottom of the economic pyramid (BOP) and solving Egypt's societal challenges through social innovation and entrepreneurship.

We congratulate our Indian and Egyptian EU|BICs and wish them a lot of success and fruitful collaboration with other EU|BICs and EBN members.
