On Monday 19 January, key actors in the field of digital met to create the association DIGITAL SAVOIE, which gathers the most prominent players in the digital community in Savoie (France).

A first kick-off meeting of the dynamic DIGITAL SAVOIE had already gathered over 100 actors in tis area in December 2014. Companies of Savoie decided to step up with the creation of DIGITAL SAVOIE.

This dynamic, of a territorial nature but mainly supported by companies of the region in the field of digital aims at structuring this industry in Savoie in order to collaborate with the French Tech labeled metropolis among which Digital Grenoble and French Tech Annecy. The idea is to participate in the construction of a digital dynamics in the Alps, the French Tech in the Alps.

The establishment of a structured and coordinated will facilitate the access to mechanisms implemented in the framework of the French tech dynamics, namely financial ones (growth accelerators, investment funds, etc.). Today digital  covers all activity sectors,  the ambition is to decompartmentalise the operators in this sector.
