Since 2019, EBN organises the Eco-Innovation Special Interest Group (SIG). Currently, around 38 members from 19 different countries meet and connect on six sub-themes: maritime, agrifood, mobility, energy, health, and biotech. This SIG sub-community acts as an interactive platform for members to share new collaboration opportunities and events, and exchange best-practices from a local and European level. SIG members actively identify new and relevant actors emerging in the Eco-Innovation field.

The Eco-Innovation SIG has established strong collaborations with relevant partners and networks in the area such as DG Mare - European Commission and Copa-Cogeca.
