Sharing of best practice is a key element of EBN's work and its members are greatly involved in exchanging knowledge which is the fundamental basis of one of EBN's current projects - HubLinked. 

EBN has been an active partner in the HubLinked Knowledge Alliance project which aims to discover and promote the most beneficial ways that industry can work with academia to strengthen Europe's software innovation capacity. The alliance achieves this by learning from regions of proven ICT strength and sharing that knowledge with all regions. Although the ICT sector is a major economic sector in Europe, HubLinked also includes startups and SMEs in the non-software sector to provide a ‘low-cost low-commitment’ mechanism to prototype software innovations.

HubLinked is currently running a pan-European study exploring best practices in university-business collaboration, specifically in the ICT Sector. If you work in a company that collaborates, has previously collaborated, or wishes to collaborate with Schools of Computer Science in any way, please fill in the online survey that examines the obstacles, good practices, and ways companies interact with academia. This is a great opportunity to support a project which will increase the innovation capacity and competitiveness of European software hubs and help underpin education, research, innovation, trade and economic development for years to come.

The survey takes approximately 15 minutes and will close on Friday 25^th October.
