Mentoring of Spanish entrepreneurs - the final event of EOI Coworking Programme's second edition

On the 7th and 8th of September in Madrid, around 45 Spanish entrepreneurs pitched their business project in front of a jury made of representatives from all over Europe for the Wrap Up final event of the EOI Coworking programme 2017 (2nd edition).

A dozen mentors coming from hosting Centres which had welcomed and accompanied these entrepreneurs for a total of 60 hours (20 hours online and 40 hours in site), attended the various pitching sessions giving their feedback and insights to the entrepreneurs.

The high variety of businesses exposed and the enthusiasm of the entrepreneurs while defending their business ideas and plans highlighted the creativity and the determination of these highly-driven women and men who have decided to make the jump. Whether employees, students or already free-lancers, all of them have been confronted to the questions of the jury who highlighted the weaknesses and strengths of each project, and who also gave some sound advices.

Nathalie Marchand,  and Nieves CABELLO  respectively representing EBN and ANCES and André Castro from BICMINHO took part in that jury too as long-term partners since several EU|BICs representatives have already participated as mentors for the 2016 (1st edition) and 2017 programmes.

The third edition of the EOI Coworking programme will start in October to end by mid-December 2017.  For 5 weeks, entrepreneurs will be hosted in Centres located in main European cities such as Prague, London, Coimbra, Budapest and Berlin among others.  A list of six EU|BICs (some of which had participated in the first round) have been selected for this third edition: Stichting (Netherlands), BDF (Netherlands), TVT Innovation (France), North East BIC (United Kingdom), IPN (Coimbra), and Cork BIC (Ireland).
