South East BIC incubatees selected for Investor Readiness competition
Fonesense and CMC Hygea, two incubatees of South East BIC have qualified for the InterTrade Ireland Seedcorn All Island Investor Readiness competition regional finals.

This competition mirrors the real life investment process and is aimed at early and new start companies that have a new equity funding requirement. Young innovative companies with a great business idea are invited to enter the All-Island Seedcorn Investor Readiness Competition for their chance to win a share of €280,000 cash.
The competition, run by InterTradeIreland, is aimed at:
- new start businesses – those under five years old at 30 May 2014, and seeking to raise new equity of between €50,000 and €299,999
- early stage businesses – those under five years old at 30 May 2014 and seeking in excess €300,000 new equity
The regional finals take place in early November when each finalist makes an investor pitch to a panel of judges. South East BIC was delighted to welcome InterTrade Ireland to Waterford in July to co-host a Business Planning Workshop.
