About the speaker
Maria Carolina Romero is an active investor, trainer, coach and mentor and focuses on designing and developing investor communities and entrepreneurship sustainable ecosystems globally. As Partner at efino, she is currently leading learning investor programs in Lebanon, Jordan and Egypt.
Maria-Carolina led Portfolio Products and Investor Groups at Go Beyond Investing. She was Executive Director of an awarded Human Capital Fund in Latam (LUMNI). She has a solid experience in business development, fundraising and strategic planning.
María Carolina holds an M.Sc in Government and International Affairs and a Master in Business Administration in Management of Technology and Entrepreneurship from Ecole Polytechnique Federale a Lausanne. Originally from Colombia, she currently resides between Switzerland and Dubai with her husband and two daughters.
