INTERNATIONALISATION - Innovation Support Ecosystems in Europe and the Americas - Insights on Incuba
Location: Online
EBN HOSTS THE ONLINE INFODAY “INNOVATION SUPPORT ECOSYSTEMS IN EUROPE AND THE AMERICAS | INSIGHTS ON INCUBATION AND INTERNATIONALISATION PROGRAMMES IN EUROPE, BRAZIL, USA AND COSTA RICA”.
Organised in the framework of ENRICH in Brazil with the support of ENRICH in the USA, the event aims at providing incubation and internationalisation professionals with latest trends and insights from the innovation support ecosystems in Europe and Americas.
Innovation incubation experts and practitioners from these ecosystems will intervene presenting facts, figures and interesting practices on business innovation support programmes to help other incubation and business innovation support practitioners understanding latest trends, and -why not- spotting new collaboration opportunities.
Prof. Adriana Faria (CenTev TecnoParq, Federal University of Viçosa) will present a new study on the Science Parks ecosystem in Brazil, while Luca Maini (EBN) will introduce the new EBN Impact Report 2020 presenting latest facts and figures from the EU|BIC community.
Starting from these interesting studies, the infoday will widen the discussion to dig into the incubation ecosystem of Costa Rica with Carola Medina Oreamuno (Costa Rica Ministry of Science, Technology and Telecommunications), and USA with Marie Longserre who will share with the audience key features and learning of Soft Landing programmes (Santa Fe Business Incubator).
The session will be closed by Laura Monasterio who will provide reflections and insights from the IASP global network.
ENRICH in Brazil will launch its new service “Internationalisation Enablers | P2P Scheme”, aimed at matching ENRICH in Brazil Soft Landing Hubs (accredited Brazilian Business Support Organisations) with peers in Europe: incubators, tech parks and accelerators from Brazil and Europe will be matched to exchange about their internationalisation support programmes and scout relevant collaboration opportunities.
A factsheet will be released for each exchange, so to disseminate internationalisation good practices in Europe and Brazil.
