Mr. Tajani Vice-President of the European Commission, responsible for Industry and Entrepreneurship will lead the European “Mission for Growth” to Seville (Andalusia, Spain) and Mérida (Extremadura, Spain) with the aim of promoting business partnerships between companies in Spain and in other European countries that are active in targeted sectors.

The mission offers a chance for European Clusters to develop collaborations with other participating clusters from Europe and beyond; thus, creating greater possibilities for Cluster related SMEs to grow through opportunities such as access to new markets or to new products and services. The mission will be held in Seville (Spain) and Mérida (Spain) as follows:
•    Seville, April 3rd – thematic/cluster visits will take place in Seville (morning)
•    Mérida, April 4th – a conference and C2C meetings will be held in Mérida (full day)

A Call for Expressions of Interest is launched to identify a European delegation composed of up to 32 representatives from cluster organisations that are willing and committed to participate in the cluster matchmaking mission in the following sectors:

• Aerospace/Aeronautics
• Agri-Food and Packaging
• Biotech and Health
• Eco-Construction
• Information and Communication Technologies
• Metal Mechanical
• Renewable Energy
