CommBeBiz Annual Meeting: Bioeconomy Impact 2017 - The Journey to Innovation

From 21 Feb 2017 to 22 Feb 2017
Location: London, United Kingdom

Bioeconomy Scientists – are they innovators?
Are bioeconomy research teams providing the impact & innovative solutions to the social challenges they are funded to investigate?

The CommBeBiz London meeting (21/22 February 2017) provides networking, expertise and skills support to Bioeconomy research teams to ensure that the obligation to deliver innovation can be met.

Many scientists need help in identifying the potential of the knowledge they are generating to create innovation. Many also need help in ensuring that knowledge reaches the stakeholders and sectors of society that will benefit from it – whether that is for commercial, social, scientific or policy benefit.

From experience of working with bioeconomy researchers identifying their needs, the CommBeBiz London meeting provides the insights & inspiration, networking & knowledge that will help researchers and projects on the journey towards innovation.

Key speakers include Professor Tim Benton (sustainability), Philip Lymbery (Farmageddon), Louise Fulford (social innovation), and senior UK politicians.

The free meeting in London is open to all European researchers working across Food, Agri, Marine, Forestry or Biotech topics who wishes to upskill their efforts to innovate for commercial or social benefit.

Register on the CommBeBiz web platform first, providing details of your research project. Then for full agenda and to register to attend go here. Don’t delay there are only 100 places available.

CommBeBiz is building a collaborative and informative community while providing the skills, contacts and support that members need to succeed and to communicate that success. To join the EU’s Bioeconomy Research Community, go to www.commbebiz.eu.
