InnoRate has announced its first Investment Readiness Masterclass for deep tech innovators! Taking place on 31st March, the workshop is dedicated to providing entrepreneurs and researchers looking for early stage investment with the knowledge needed to secure funding. The workshop is hosted by EBN and Dublin BIC at the NDRC just one day ahead of FutureScope, Ireland’s #1 innovation event.

The Masterclass, led by Majella Murphy and facilitated by experienced investors and innovation specialists, will show you exactly what investors are looking for from deep-tech innvators and how to meet those expectations. You will also learn how to attract the attention of investors, how to prepare and execute the perfect pitch, and what comes next in the investment process.

All participants will not only receive hands on training from experts but you will also have the opportunity to network with other deep-tech actors and be given personalised feedback on how to get investment ready. They will also be given a unique first insight into the InnoRate platform, a novel service platform that allow the effective linkage of innovative SMEs and investors across the EU and Associated Countries through objective and forward-looking technology and innovation rating methodologies.

Majella Murphy, Dublin BIC Investment Consultant

Majella has extensive direct experience in innovation, entrepreneurship and commercialisation, across a broad spectrum of technical and scientific domains. She has an intimate knowledge and appreciation of the challenges of starting and scaling and has designed, managed and delivered programmes for taking new ventures on their difficult journey towards grant and venture capital investment. Majella has practical knowledge of leading-edge practices and is well engaged in the ecosystem.

She has a solid grounding in strategic analytical thinking and consulting having worked at UCD Smurfit Graduate Business School, NDRC, Curach Consulting (since acquired by Deloitte), Traventec (a travel technology start-up, since acquired by OpenJaw Technologies) and Accenture.

Majella has a Masters (research) degree in Business and a Bachelor’s degree in International Marketing and Languages (first in class), both from DCU.
