Who will you be listening to?
- FASE - The Financing Agency for Social Entrepreneurship (FASE) supports selected social enterprises in raising growth capital. They identify investors and financiers across the entire spectrum, ranging from private investors, family offices and foundations to social investors and banks. FASE specifically focus on combining several types of investors and different financing instruments. This is in order to develop innovative financing approaches that can serve as role models and blueprints. FASE is an independent organisation; we care deeply about the social and environmental impact of our projects and seek to advance the social finance sector.
- SI2 Fund - SI² Fund is a European social impact investment fund that focusses specifically on businesses that have an integrated impact/business model. SI2 Fund offers social investors access to qualitative impact-driven entrepreneurs and the opportunity to help scale social impact on the long-term, alongside a fair financial return. The Fund operates in Belgium, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom and is a “social first” type of investment fund; it is focused on societal/social impact and supports their portfolio companies in adopting robust impact measurement methodologies and in integrating impact management at the core of their business processes. Therefore, SI² Fund works following the SROI framework, it enables an organization to assess the net social value it creates for its stakeholders.
Why reverse-pitching?
Last February, EBN organised a match-making session among social impact investors and the entrepreneurial social solutions selected during the Social Challenge Platform initiative. This initiative was so successful among both entrepreneurs and investors that we decided to keep the synergies among the networks going!
Now, we want to go the other way around and have the investors pitching in front of you. In turn, you will be able to scout among your client pool any entrepreneur that could fit the criteria.
