Fundación madri+d is a non profit organisation created in 2002 by the Government of the Region of Madrid to strengthen the coordination of the R&D Regional System (network of 47 institutions including universities, public research bodies and business organisations) through common projects and initiatives in the areas of tech-based entrepreneurship, TT and commercialisation, European R&D projects and S&T dissemination, including its Technology portal www.madrimasd.org Madrimasd Tech-based entrepreneurship unit (www.madrimasd.org/emprendedores) has supported the creation of more than 300 companies with services including: Training in management skills; Access to incubation spaces; Mentoring, expert advice (www.redmentoresmadrid.es); Investment readiness; Search for funding (BAN madri+d); Development of Business model/plan; Internationalization support; Networking and team building events; TT support (EEN) and legal advice; Web and media dissemination.
