Ronan was a project manager in EBN responsible for the management of several European projects and the business development of new projects in EBN. As project manager for InvestHorizon, frontierCities and EuromedInvest, Ronan focused on the areas of acceleration, investment and internationalisation of start-ups and SMEs. In addition to managing active projects, Ronan coordinated EBN’s involvement in bidding for new projects. Ronan evaluated project opportunities, managed approaches from consortia, and contributed to the elaboration of project proposals. Ronan also jointly coordinated the EBN ‘Internationalisation’ Special Interest Group.

Ronan joined EBN in May 2014 as a Project Assistant supporting on a number of EU funded projects through Horizon 2020, FP7, Leonardo da Vinci, INTERREG and other funding programs before being promoted to Project Manager.

With two years’ experience working with internationalizing SMEs, Ronan brings hands-on experience to his role in EBN. He worked with over 30 Irish exporting SMEs, and start-ups, in the French office of the Irish Government agency responsible for the growth and development of Irish companies: Enterprise Ireland.

Ronan holds a Bachelor of Commerce (International) and French from University College Cork (Ireland), and a Diploma in French and European Management from the Ecole de Management, Strasbourg (France).
