Cristina Fanjul Alonso is Managing Director of Incubator & accelerator CEEI Asturias (Spain) where she leads initiatives of development of innovative technology-based entrepreneurship, including advice, acceleration programmes, investment readiness and access to early stage public and private finance.

CEEI Asturias is a lead organisation in charge of promoting innovation and technology-based initiatives in the region of Asturias and is specialized in Biotechnology and creative & digital sectors. Around 30 new startups setting-up are supported by the organization and almost 2,5 million € of funding is levered for them each year.

She is very involved in European initiatives and strategies and vice-president at the Board of EBN- European BIC Network (international association of centers of innovation) - and also of ANCES  Spanish association  of Business Innovation Centres.

She is also expert evaluator of international SME Instrument (Horizon 2020).
