Sofia is Head of European Projects Compliance at F6S since January 2018.

Before joining F6S, Sofia was part of the EBN Projects Team, having been the Project Manager of CONNECT - Exchange of Entrepreneurs between Europe and Brazil. Sofia was a Senior Consultant at SPI - Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação from 2011 until 2017. She contributed to H2020 proposal writing and to the management of EU and World Bank funded projects in the fields of entrepreneurship, startups investment, innovation policy, internationalization, climate change, tourism, among others, with a strong focus on communication. 

Sofia has a MSc in Services Management and a BA in Languages & International Relations from the University of Porto, Portugal. She did the Erasmus programme at the University of Manchester, UK. Previously to her experience in consultancy and project management, Sofia participated in entrepreneurship programmes and business competitions in Europe and the USA, and worked at the Rectory of the University of Porto.
