Managing the day-to-day operational issues of the North East Business and Innovation Centre and its tenants David specialises in property management, incubator strategies, marketing, business planning, new idea development and people management.

David is at the forefront of enterprise support initiatives as both chairman at Sunderland Enterprise Park Management Company (SEP), and as chair of the Growth Accelerator and Incubation Network (GAIN); a North East wide group of business support organisations acting as a regional voice contributing towards the future strategic direction of incubation policy.

David also works with organisations throughout Europe championing the BIC model, most recently with the Ukrainian government and their regional development office in Kiev to advise them on establishing their own business support services.
