Nishant Shandilya is a Senior International Consultant at SPI - Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação – (www.spieurope.eu), an international consulting group with offices located in Europe (Portugal and Spain), North America (USA) and Asia (China and Singapore) and SPI Ventures, with 75 full-time staffs. He also seconded at the European Business and Innovation Centres Network (EBN) as Project Manager. 

He has been actively involved in coordinating & writing expression of interests, carrying out financial projections and budgeting, preparing communication, dissemination and exploitation plan as well as networking and exploration of new opportunities. He has expertise in business development and growth, financial and quantitative projections, risk assessment, solutions planning and project management. He is also a key team member in a range of European Commission projects under the 7th Framework Programme and the Horizon 2020, specifically in the fields of entrepreneurship, internationalization, social innovation, ICT, among others. In addition to managing workshops and exhibitions, he has also organized various public lectures and Horizon 2020 dissemination seminars in collaboration with the European Commission in the ASEAN region.  He also handles the recruitment/ talent acquisition especially for the International team at SPI.

Prior to joining SPI, he has been involved in exploring ASEAN strategy for the International Business Banking  Department at Siam Commercial Bank. He has also been engaged in several Southeast Asian development research activities with AARM - SERD, AIT. He holds an MBA degree (dual specialisation in Finance & Strategy) from Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok with a component from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
