Dr. Franz Glatz has a MSc in Chemistry and a Ph.D. in semiconductor technology. For two years he was the right hand of the President of the Technische Universität München. Starting 2000 he worked several years as a senior consultant for the investment-banking department of a German bank and was in the initial team of a venture capital company.

In 2003 he became the managing director of the technology-based incubator gate Garchinger Technologie- und Gründerzentrum next to the TU Munich. Since 2006 he is responsible in addition for the first and only media incubator in Germany, b-neun Media & Technology Centre in Unterföhring by Munich.

Since 2007 he joined several EU funded projects about innovation support in Europe. He is the German representative of the ACHIEVEMORE course “Investor Readiness”. He joined the EBN quality expert group 2010.

Franz brings a long term experience in developing and supporting innovative knowledge intensive companies and in creating ideas into business.He is a lecturer at the Munich University of applied science for innovation management and methodology of idea generation. 2010 he founded with two professors the research group “better ideas:”.
