Nuno Gomes, born in 1978 in Portugal. Post Graduated in Enterprise Recovery, was awarded by the Hogeschool voor Economische Studies from Rotterdam, with the European Diploma of International Management with specialization in International Trade, signed by 7 European universities: Universidade do Minho (Portugal), International School of Economics Rotterdam (Holland), Universitat de Vic (Spain), Fachhochschule Bielefeld (Germany), University of Luton (England), Université de Valenciennes (France), e Höhere Wirtschafts - und Verwaltungsschule Winterthur, (Switzerland). He is also graduated in Economics by University of Minho.

Working in BICMINHO since 2001, as Chief Executive Officer since 2009, Nuno is an experienced specialist in coordination and implementation of several National and European Projects of entrepreneurship, business innovation and internationalization. Since 2009 operated a remarkable change in business model of BICMINHO, converting it in strong reference in business support institutions in Portugal.

Nuno is Executive Director of BICS – National Network of Portuguese BICs, since 2009, and founder-member of PTBAN – Associação Business Angels Network since 2005. 

Senior advisor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Incubation, New Businesses and Modernization of existent SMEs. Senior Consultant of existent SMEs. Senior National Consultant of Benchmarking accredited by IAPMEI. 

External expert and Evaluator European Projects, namely Cooperation Projects, and Trainer of Teachers accredited by Ministry of Education of Portugal.
