Mando Karvelli holds a degree in Applied Informatics (University of Macedonia) and an MBA diploma with specialization in Marketing (University of Macedonia).

During the previous six years (2007-2013), she has accumulated strong experience working as project manager of Research and Development European projects and has effectively collaborated with important innovation and R&D stakeholders (research centres, technology parks, incubators, etc.) building a wide network on both European and international level. In more specific, she has been involved in planning, managing and implementing various European and national projects in the fields of creativity development and innovation support, knowledge management, policy consultation, exploitation of research results, competitiveness and entrepreneurship enhancement. Among others, she has supported liaison services between research and industry and business oriented projects for the evaluation of business performance and innovative ideas.

Mrs. Karvelli has also led training seminars for academic (Technical University of Crete) and business organisations in strategic management, creativity development and business internationalisation. She has served as an external evaluator and controller of the “Hellenic Organisation of Small and Medium Enterprises and Handicraft”.

Since 2013 she joined the International Collaborations Unit of Corallia Clusters Initiative, bringing her knowledge and experience in implementing and managing EU funded projects. She also supports the identification of key innovation stakeholders and formation of partnerships towards cluster excellence and effective cluster support.
