Fadi has been nominated by the World Business Angel Investment Forum as WBAF Lebanon Senator. The mission of the WBAF is to ease access to finance for businesses from start-up to scale-up, with the ultimate goal of generating more jobs and more social justice worldwide. It is committed to collaborating globally to empower world economic development by creating innovative financial instruments for innovators, startups, and SMEs.
Fadi is an accomplished and results-driven professional with extensive international experience in strategy development, business value leadership, digital transformation, and program governance.
Fadi has worked for more than 17 years, developing technology solutions and services for a wide variety of clients. His work has typically been at the innovation end of product development, for clients in Ag-Food Tech, consumer, retail, telecom, and industrial markets.
Fadi works with start-ups (achieving successful license deals and exit) in Africa and the Middle East. Fadi was the Program Manager of Agrytech in Lebanon, the first Agri-Food Innovation Hub in the region funded by the Dutch government. In the Agrytech portfolio, Fadi supported more than 40 start-ups to validate in the market and scale-up.
Fadi works with Startups, Scaleups and SME’s across Europe, Africa, Middle East, Far East, and Australia part of his multiple mentoring hats as Stanford Seed SME Consultant, Accredited & Qualified Business Mentor (AQGM) for SME’s from the WBAF (World Business Angel Investment Forum), a Start-ups Mentor with Tony Elumelu Foundation, An SME Mentor with Mowgli Foundation, a Mentor with Askybird and an active Senator at Junior Chamber International (JCI).
Fadi has a proven record of accomplishment in driving the project management lifecycle from initiation, planning, and execution to monitoring/control and closure where he handled a portfolio of $44M.
He can utilize astute analytical capabilities to take advantage of new, emerging, and existing technologies.
Fadi is the Lebanon Enterprise Development Program Director, a program funded by USAID supporting SME’s to grow.
Fadi holds a Master of Engineering in Telecommunication and Computer Science, he has an Executive MBA from ESCP Europe, he is PMP certified, a certified Business Incubation Management, and a certified Exponential Organization foundation.
He possesses fluency in Arabic, English, and French.
